Chrysler Logo, USSR Quality Sign

chrysler

I don’t know what came first, but Chrysler’s logo reminds me a lot of the USSR quality stamp. This symbol was placed on every item manufactured in the USSR, much like “Made in China” is now stamped on just about every item at your local store.

This probably came to mind because Obama’s action in regards to Chrysler is viewed as socialist, and I’ve been seeing the “United Socialist States of America” “joke” a lot.

Congratulations on finally noticing it. I saw it with the first ‘K’ car.

When all is said and done, Marx would be proven right, ’socialism is possible ONLY after all the fruits of labor have been created in a CAPITALIST society.

    Sergei,
I vaguely noticed this resemblence before but now it crystallized and “floated” to the top of my mind :)

Have yet to read Marx, only familiar with the Communist Manifesto.

Here’s a cartoon you might find interesting, from 1934. Amazing how things stay the same, decades later.

    Thanks for visiting :)
