Reading these figures, I can’t help but think that it’s “each man for himself” in this world.

All figures are for one year:

• Basic education for all the people in the world would cost $6 BILLION
• Installation of water and sanitation for all would cost $9 BILLION
• Basic health care and nutrition would cost $13 BILLION

Total: $40 Billion annually

• $8 BILLION is spent annually for cosmetics in the United States alone
• $11 BILLION is spent annually on ice cream in Europe
• $12 BILLION a year is spent on perfumes in Europe and the U.S
• $17 BILLION a year is spent on pet food in Europe and the U.S
• $35 BILLION is spent on business entertainment in Japan
• $50 BILLION on cigarettes in Europe
• $105 BILLION on alcoholic drinks in Europe
• $400 BILLION on narcotic drugs around the world
• And finally, in ONE year alone $780 BILLION is spent on firearms and munitions (I suspect this number is now higher)

(This, right here, is a list of economic sectors to invest in if you’re inclined to do so.)

Does this symbol look “green” and safe to you?

Well, it’s neither of these things. Foods marked with this symbol have been irradiated and are not suitable for consumption, despite anything you may hear.

According to current FDA regulations, any food used as an ingredient in another food does NOT have to be labeled as irradiated. For example, if you buy coleslaw, and the cabbage in the coleslaw has been irradiated, there is no requirement that the coleslaw carry any labeling indicating it has been irradiated.

However, if raw cabbage is irradiated, then current FDA regulations do require it to carry an irradiation label.

The debut of powerful atom-smasher

The most powerful atom-smasher ever built could make some bizarre discoveries, such as invisible matter or extra dimensions in space, after it is switched on in August.

This collider, called the largest scientific experiment in history, is expected to begin test runs in August.

But some critics fear the Large Hadron Collider could exceed physicists’ wildest conjectures: Will it spawn a black hole that could swallow Earth? Or spit out particles that could turn the planet into a hot dead clump?……

Can’t you tell that the lawyers wrote this report? So these scientists have no idea what might happen, but there’s no “conceivable danger”. In other words, there is danger, they just can’t imagine what it might be.

I can’t stand any of the current U.S. presidential candidates in the running, disgusting lying puppets. Today I learned that Obama’s election campaign slogan is “Change you can vote for”. It’s really a pretty loaded and clever sentence “change you are allowed to vote for” is another way of putting it (but I’m biased).

Still can’t believe Americans don’t vote directly for candidates. Supposedly un-democratic Russia or just about all ex-USSR member countries have a system where you can have 15 or 20 or whatever number of candidates from numerous parties in existence there. And you vote directly for the party, and directly for the candidate. Not for a representative of the representative, and not one of the two available parties, often having to pick “the lesser of two evils”.

Dwight McDonald (American writer, editor, social critic, philosopher, and political radical) wrote:

I don’t think it’s fair to say that only Americans are like that. Most other people prefer clarity as well.

Canada’s Police State Bill C51 Camouflaged as a Health Bill

Under Bill C-51 the State could:
· Enter private property without a warrant
· Take your property at their discretion
· Dispose of your property at will
· Not reimburse you for your losses
· Seize your bank accounts without a warrant
· Charge owners shipping and storage charges for seized property
· Store your property indefinitely
· Levy fines of up to $5,000,000.00 and/or seek 2 years in jail per charge
· Will not have to report seizures to a court.
· They can charge you just for talking about or promoting natural alternatives
